British Alumni Association Pakistan

This section is a sharing point for the British alumni members who will exchange their views and interact online.

I see British Alumni as galaxy of scholars from all the Universities of the UK. It will serve as an information cell for the future students of the UK Universities.

Dr Bushra Mateen
President,
British Alumni Association Lahore

BAA should provide not only a forum to share one's past and present experiences but it should also provide a platform for personal and professional development.

BAA Lahore Chapter seeks to leverage the skills and experience of talented Pakistanis from varied academic and professional backgrounds who have studied in UK and are currently in Lahore for mutual personal and professional development. As the name suggests, all BAA members have the shared experience of having completed academic work in the United Kingdom. BAA's goal is to assist these returning professionals to best utilize their newly gained skills for the benefit of Pakistan.

Zulfiqar Younas
Project Co-ordinator,
British Alumni Association Lahore

British Alumni Association is a unique forum as it creates an influential network of individuals who work in a knowledge based economy. Our vision is to began a personal and a professional relationship of our members based on mutual growth. We look forward to this interaction with great enthusiasm and energy. We seek support from all and also desire continued support of British Council in this endeavour.

Farhan Aziz Khawaja
General Secretary,
British Alumni Association Lahore

New friends. Networking. Nostalgia. BAA is about all of them and more. For me it stands for a desire to continue with my experience of Oxford. It stands for an opportunity for me and fellow alumni to keep learning and to make a contribution to our society. Above all, it stands for pride. Pride in the fact that at BAA I rub shoulders with very bright people whose thirst for knowledge had taken them half-way around the globe and back.

Jawad A Dogar
Treasurer, British Alumni Association Lahore
